In every aspect of life, There can only be one first, one original.  Everything that follows is an imitator, a copy.  And copies are NEVER as good as the original.  ARIOCH is living proof of  this, because he is an original.  When hard rock was the rule on MTV, he stunned the world by performing magic on the air with such rockers as SKID ROW, MOTLEY CRUE, KISS, and other celebrities.  Unlike certain magicians on TV today, ARIOCH did it without ANY camera tricks or video editing.  He always has and always will believe that “If you can’t do magic live, you can’t do magic at all!”.

From the late Eighties on, ARIOCH was everywhere - TV, newspapers, magazines, radio, clubs - places that no one ever believed a magician could perform.  And yet he did it.  And then he did the unthinkable - he backed out of the spotlight.  Not completely, mind you, just enough to have the quiet he needed to work on his Art.  Much like singers take years between album releases to hone their skills, ground themselves again, or just experience the real life situations necessary for inspiration, ARIOCH needed time.  “Magic is, first and foremost, an Art Form,” he says, “And to do it well requires monumental amounts of practice. More so than other art forms. Of course, these days most people download the secret to a trick and believe that they are magicians, but they’re not. It takes years to be able to turn a simple trick into a work of Magical Art. And believe me, the public can tell the difference between a true artist and someone who is just doing the barest mechanics while reading what they say from cue-cards.”

That ARIOCH is a true artist is evident in his live performances, the amount of press he receives for even his most intimate shows, and his unmatched versatility. From the loudest rock concert to the most sophisticated white tie and tails event, to the most dangerous publicity stunt escape, ARIOCH can adapt to any situation. He has spent the last several years performing for people from as many different backgrounds, in as many different settings, in as many different styles as humanly possible, and for one reason only. To be worthy of the Art that he was born to share with the world. ARIOCH never went away, this website is not intended to alert the world that he has returned from retirement, or that he is making a comeback like so many other stars of ten years ago. This website, and everything that ARIOCH does, is simply the newest chapter in his incredible career. Every magical performance that he gives, whether it’s in front of a small group of his friends or on national television, is simply a glimpse of the evolution, the ongoing story, of one of the few true originals in magic.
